4th Senior High Research Congress

"Siyasig 2025: Advancing Knowledge, Enriching Research Excellence —
Celebrating 75 Years of Mission, Commitment, and Service."

Ms. Michelle Lei Victorino and selected Grade 11 students were allowed to attend, observe, and engage in the discussions, preparing them for their own research endeavors. The presence of an esteemed panel of invited examiners added depth and rigor to the congress, offering expert feedback and guidance. Indeed, the event invited all participants to reflect on the value of research in advancing knowledge and continuing the school's legacy of excellence.

"Empowering Youth Perspective: Catalysts for Innovative Research and Societal Progress
through Culture of Researching, and Knowledge Across Strands"

The Manila Cathedral School supported our MCSians in the recent research congress, which significantly helped them improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This series of research presentations conducted by our Grade 12 Senior High School students is interrelated to how we simply find solutions to the problems we encounter in our daily lives, and these are inextricably linked to the quality and success of whatever endeavor we are pursuing.

2025 Faculty Research Fest

Siyasig: MCS Action Research Festival

The Manila Cathedral School successfully conducted Siyasig: MCS Action Research Festival, a significant event that underscored the institution's commitment to innovation, faith, and service. The festival brought together all MCS personnel to present and discuss research initiatives to enhance educational excellence. Through action research, educators were empowered to contribute meaningfully to advancing knowledge and service.

Action Research Seminar 2024

"Action Research: Enhancing Pedagogical Approaches" — Resource Speaker: Mr. Bryan M. Gallos, Ph.D

The Manila Cathedral School and Mr. Bryan M. Gallos, QADPC of HCCS, conducted a successful seminar on Action Research for all MCS Personnel last March 14, 2024, at the MCS Library. This seminar allows for greater dissemination of action research papers to improve and update existing research methods, while helping develop teaching strategies, classroom management, and school operations.

Faculty Research Seminar 2022

The Faculty Research Seminar 2022 was conducted to enhance the research capability, productivity, and scholarly engagement of faculty members by providing a platform for presenting completed and ongoing research, sharing best practices, and strengthening research culture within the institution. Through this activity, faculty members were empowered to improve their research competence, increase publication output, and integrate research-based approaches into instruction and community extension.

1st MCS Faculty Action Research Fest

The 1st MCS Faculty Action Research Fest was organized to promote a strong culture of reflective teaching and continuous professional development among faculty members through action research. The event provided an avenue for teachers to present their completed and ongoing action research projects, highlighting innovative strategies and interventions implemented to improve teaching and learning outcomes. The fest fostered the sharing of best practices and evidence-based solutions to instructional challenges.
