On Easter Sunday, the Church celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Early in the morning, several women went to the tomb to anoint His body, but they found the stone rolled away and the tomb empty. An angel appeared to them and announced that Jesus had risen from the dead, just as He had promised.

Mary Magdalene then encountered the risen Christ, becoming one of the first witnesses of the Resurrection. Later, Jesus appeared to His disciples, showing them His wounds and giving them peace. He strengthened their faith and sent them out to proclaim the Good News.

Easter Sunday marks the victory of Christ over sin and death, bringing hope and new life to all believers.
